Briefly, we purchased and used the apartment as often as we could - especially my wife and her friends!! Interspersed with this, we rented it out and we used this website to assist with this. Quite frankly, bookings became so fluent that I didn’t update the site as often as I should. We have had bookings and re-bookings and well, in the end, this site just served to provide a bit of extra information for our freinds/recomm endations who had access to the internet. In saying that, do please read what the site says because it’s an excellent description of what you will be purchasing, both in the property and the locality

		Calahonda golf lovers view the Costa del Sol as an international meeting point. The fantastic spring weather all over the year, the large accommodation and amenities offer, together with the super quality of more than 5 golf courses, convert into one of Europes best golf centres.

When the Costa del Sol experienced a renaissance as a winter golf resort in the late eighties, the phrase "Costa del Golf" was coined. Between 1985 and 1991, no fewer than 17 new golf courses appeared, bringing the total along this 50 mile stretch of coast up to thirty. This concentration of quality golf courses, combined with the unique sunny and warm winter climate enjoyed by the region, led to its becoming unrivalled as a winter golf destination for northern Europeans, who while emerging as a serious force at all levels of golf, were deprived of the opportunity to play during the harsh winter months.

When Valderrama was chosen to host the Ryder Cup in 1997, the Costa del Golf received universal recognition as the finest winter golf resort in Europe, Advance reservations for the millenium led to a flurry of new golf courses to be constructed.

For a snowbound, frustrated golfer, desperate to play in the sunshine, the Costa del Golf is proving irresistible. Golf course owners are re-investing in their courses to improve their quality still further and there are no longer any weak links, each course offering its own kind of challenge on perfect fairways and greens. The general infrastructure from Malaga to Gibraltar has improved beyond recognition.

As Andalucia marches confidently in the new millenium, preparing to welcome a record number of golf tourists this winter, I suppose the moral is, book your golf holiday early!

Cabopino Golf

The course is situated opposite the marina after which it is named. The round is 5,170 metres long and has a par of 71. It was designed by the Madrid architect Juan Ligués and has spectacular views of the sea and the beautiful natural surroundings, including a large number of magnificent spreading pine trees.

The course consists of three par-3’s, two par-5’s, and thirteen par-4’s. The longest hole is the 14th, a 456 metre par-5, and the shortest is the 13th, a par-3 which is 134 metres from the yellow tee. It is a course where those with a high handicap will enjoy using all of the clubs in their bag and lower handicaps will have to take a risk on every shot if their want to get round with a good score.

This Apartment has been absolutely fantastic for us -

Ideal for 4 but has slept 6. The view over the Med is probably the best in the Costa Del Sol!

Although we are selling we are not deserting Calahonda or the Costa Del Sol, in fact we have purchased a Town House in the Calahonda

The apartment is wonderful, even though I say it myself - But for sale - is not just the apartment - its the locality to which it is part - its also the locality to Marbella, Puert Banus, Mijas Costa, Fuengirola, Benalmadena and Torremolinas.

30 minutes away is Purto Banus
20 minutes away is Marbella
