Briefly, we purchased and used the apartment as often as we could - especially my wife and her friends!! Interspersed with this, we rented it out and we used this website to assist with this. Quite frankly, bookings became so fluent that I didn’t update the site as often as I should. We have had bookings and re-bookings and well, in the end, this site just served to provide a bit of extra information for our freinds/recomm endations who had access to the internet. From Marbella

Drive along the national highway N-340 along the coast in the direction of Málaga, take the exit for Parque Acuático Mijas (Mijas Water Park) and once you reach the roundabout, follow the road to Coín – the MA-426 – in the direction of the mountains. The signs indicating “Hotel Byblos” can be followed to reach Mijas Golf.

From Málaga - Airport:

Take the national highway A-7 along the Coast bypassing Fuengirola and take the exit for the Coín road –MA-426- just after an overhead pedestrian Bridge where the words “Bienvenidos a Las Lagunas” can be seen. Look out for and follow signs for “Campo de Golf”, “Carretera de Coín” or “Hotel Byblos”. Ignore any sign for Mijas pueblo (Mijas Village).

From Benalmádena-Costa:

Mijas Golf - The courses, Los Lagos and Los Olivos, are situated in the valley of Mijas, north of Fuengirola, only twenty minutes from the M laga international airport and 3.5 kms. from the sea. The Club House is an old Andalusian cortijo farmhouse , and beside it, one can feel the continual buzz on the terraces of the Restaurant, where the variety of our clientele can be noticed, Mijas Golf has managed to mix, with success, the residents on the area with visitors from all over the world. Mijas Golf - Los Lagos Course - With its 6,367 metres, this course is the longer of the two which comprise of Mijas Golf. Designed by Robert Trent Jones Senior, Los Lagos is a ground course with wide fairways and a few forest trees obstacles, but is defended by many bunkers and nine lakes, from which the course gets its name and which easily trap the ball. It is a course with soft movement and large greens. It could be said that the American designer wanted to present a course especially for amateurs, but at the same time, it can present a challenge for the best players.

 

 

Mijas Golf - Los Olivos Course - Designed by Robert Trent Senior, the main feature which distinguishes this course from The Lakes is the abundance of trees – hence the name – and its smaller size, as well as fewer water hazards. The greens are smaller, undulating and well defended. Although both are the work of the same designer, there is no doubt there are interesting contrasts between the two courses: if Los Lagos are based on hazards of water and sand, Los Olivos is strategic narrow tree lined fairways and elevated greens.

This Apartment has been absolutely fantastic for us -

Ideal for 4 but has slept 6. The view over the Med is probably the best in the Costa Del Sol!

Although we are selling we are not deserting Calahonda or the Costa Del Sol, in fact we have purchased a Town House in the Calahonda

The apartment is wonderful, even though I say it myself - But for sale - is not just the apartment - its the locality to which it is part - its also the locality to Marbella, Puert Banus, Mijas Costa, Fuengirola, Benalmadena and Torremolinas.
